Community Guidelines

• List only properties you genuinely own or are authorised to represent.
• Use accurate rent, deposit, area, amenity and location details.
• Upload real, current photographs of the actual property.
• No broker listings, disguised broker activity or fake owner identities.
• Update or unlist promptly once the property is rented.

• Use the resident directory only for community purposes.
• No scraping, exporting or forwarding of resident contacts.
• Respect privacy settings — do not pressure others to share more than they choose.
• No unsolicited marketing, sales pitches or bulk messaging.

• Keep discussions constructive and relevant to your society.
• Debate ideas, not people — no personal attacks, hate speech or harassment.
• Committee broadcasts must be truthful and used responsibly.
• Do not share private information about other residents without consent.

• List only goods or services you genuinely own or are authorised to offer.
• Accurate titles, prices and photos — no counterfeit, unsafe or illegal items.
• Honour agreed terms; unresolved disputes may be escalated to the committee.
• Vendors must represent their services truthfully.

• Create genuine events with accurate date, time, venue and details.
• Follow society rules and local law for gatherings.
• Do not use events for spam, solicitation or misleading promotions.

• Guards must record visitor entries accurately and only during their assigned shift.
• Residents should approve or deny visitor requests promptly and honestly.
• Do not misuse the visitor system to harass or track people.
• Photographs captured at the gate are for security only.

• Reviews must be based on genuine experience.
• No paid, incentivised or retaliatory reviews.
• No personal attacks; focus on facts about the service or property.

• No unsolicited promotions, chain messages or repetitive posts.
• No bots, automated posting or bulk messaging.
• No off-platform solicitation for payments or contacts.

• Zero tolerance for fake listings, impersonation and scams.
• Never request or accept advance payments outside the society's configured gateway.
• Report suspected fraud immediately; we will investigate and act.

Use the in-app Report option on any listing, post, profile or notice, or email support@rentwithoutbroker.in. Every report is reviewed. Serious incidents can be escalated to the Grievance Officer.

We take graduated action depending on severity: warnings, content removal, temporary suspension, permanent bans and, for illegal activity, referral to law enforcement.
